LINX reveals rail fleet
LINX Cargo Care Group is proud to unveil the new livery to its existing ‘G’ class locomotives and rail fleet operating out of the LINX Intermodal Terminal at Enfield in Western Sydney.
As part of LINX’s rail operations at the terminal, the two refurbished LINX locomotives will complement the current fleet operating the Port Shuttles from the Enfield terminal through to Port Botany. The new locomotives will deliver additional capacity whilst ensuring reliability and enabling the delivery of our import and export customers’ cargo on-time, every time.
Anthony Jones, LINX Cargo Care Group CEO said the LINX refurbished and branded locomotives will contribute towards the Group achieving its vision for the Intermodal Terminal.
“Effective and reliable rail operations at the LINX Intermodal Terminal is critical to the terminal’s success for our customers and the NSW freight and ports economy.
“We are excited by our rail operations and remain committed to delivering on our promise to our customers. We see reliability as key to this commitment and the refurbishment of these locomotives are one way of ensuring this commitment is maintained.
“The enhancement of our LINX Port Shuttle fleet, combined with the recent signing of ACFS Port Logistics as the Empty Container Park operator, as well as other logistics operators established on site, propels the LINX Intermodal Terminal towards successfully delivering strong results in moving freight from New South Wales roads to rail,” said Anthony.
The new LINX branded locomotives can be seen in action on the LINX Port Shuttles between Enfield and Port Botany from Wednesday 7 November 2018.
