Brett Grehan

Group CEO

Brett joins LINX Cargo Care Group following 28 years with McKinsey & Company, where he built his career. Brett has broad strategic, commercial and operational experience across a range of B2B businesses including: rail, logistics, steel, pulp & paper, telecommunications and private equity, to name a few. In these sectors, Brett has worked extensively overseas in cities like London, Atlanta and Mumbai, as well as delivering projects in New Zealand, South-East Asia, and China. Brett is a high-integrity strategic business leader with considerable experience collaborating with CEOs, executive teams, and private equity firms to deliver value to all stakeholders.

Andrew Batch

Group CFO

Andrew has more than 15 years’ experience working in the services, construction and engineering sectors. He has worked in a variety of senior finance roles with businesses such as Chubb Security Holdings and RCR Tomlinson Group, and managed finance teams across Australia, New Zealand and India.

Andrew has a strong financial and operational background and trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. As LINX Cargo Care Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Andrew is responsible for the Group’s accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, finance shared services and internal controls.

Chris Simpson

Group CCO

Chris has held various leadership roles within LINX, Pacific National and Asciano working across the strategy, business development and commercial functions. Chris began his career in investment banking where he worked for over ten years for organisations such as Goldman Sachs and Dresdner Kleinwort providing advice to corporates predominantly in Australian and European markets.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Chris is responsible for the Group’s strategic planning, commercial leadership, and delivering on growth opportunities.

Alexia Smyth-Kirk

General Counsel and Company Secretary

As General Counsel and Company Secretary, Alexia leads the legal and corporate governance function for LINX Cargo Care Group.  Alexia commenced her professional career as a solicitor at Clayton Utz and was appointed as Associate to the Honourable Justice Robert Buchanan, Federal Court of Australia.

Alexia has experience in litigation as well as general corporate, commercial and competition law and has almost 10 years’ experience in the transport and logistics industry, having previously held legal roles in Asciano and Patrick before commencing with LINX CCG at its inception in 2016.

Gavin Hudson

CE, C3 NZ and Pedersen Group

Gavin has more than 14 years with Pedersen Group and more than 23 years in New Zealand’s forestry industry. Gavin’s deep experience in business growth, development, sales and acquisition, delivers an executive level of business acumen, strategic planning and leadership, that are great assets to the Pedersen Group and the wider LINX Cargo Care Group.

Gavin has previously worked as an independent consultant to Fletcher Challenge and Norske Skog, and worked for Winstone Pulp and Red Stag.

Eliza Anning

Chief Transformation Officer

Eliza has been a member of the LINX Cargo Care Group Senior Leadership Team since the Group’s inception in 2016. Combining her extensive legal expertise with her more than 10 years of experience providing corporate services to businesses in the Logistics, Port Services and Forestry sectors, Eliza brings a well-rounded skillset to the Chief Transformation Officer role. In this role, Eliza utilises her market knowledge and connections to support the entire Group to deliver business transformation and organisational change in sectors that are constantly evolving.  Eliza also oversees the development and implementation of the LINX CCG ESG Program.

Eliza’s strong legal, risk management and commercial background stems from having trained as a legal practitioner with Clayton Utz and previously holding general counsel roles, including for Patrick and LINX. As LINX Cargo Care Group’s Chief Transformation Officer, Eliza plays a pivotal role in driving the future direction of the Group, ensuring we are ready to meet the ever changing challenges of an increasingly complex operating environment.
