Brett Grehan

Group CEO

Brett joins LINX Cargo Care Group following 28 years with McKinsey & Company, where he built his career. Brett has broad strategic, commercial and operational experience across a range of B2B businesses including: rail, logistics, steel, pulp & paper, telecommunications and private equity, to name a few. In these sectors, Brett has worked extensively overseas in cities like London, Atlanta and Mumbai, as well as delivering projects in New Zealand, South-East Asia, and China. Brett is a high-integrity strategic business leader with considerable experience collaborating with CEOs, executive teams, and private equity firms to deliver value to all stakeholders.

Andrew Batch

Group CFO

Andrew has more than 15 years’ experience working in the services, construction and engineering sectors. He has worked in a variety of senior finance roles with businesses such as Chubb Security Holdings and RCR Tomlinson Group, and managed finance teams across Australia, New Zealand and India.

Andrew has a strong financial and operational background and trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. As LINX Cargo Care Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Andrew is responsible for the Group’s accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, finance shared services and internal controls.

Chris Simpson

Group CCO

Chris has held various leadership roles within LINX, Pacific National and Asciano working across the strategy, business development and commercial functions. Chris began his career in investment banking where he worked for over ten years for organisations such as Goldman Sachs and Dresdner Kleinwort providing advice to corporates predominantly in Australian and European markets.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Chris is responsible for the Group’s strategic planning, commercial leadership, and delivering on growth opportunities.

Andrew Simpson

Group COO

Andrew’s background includes extensive senior leadership and operational management in the logistics and supply chain industry over 20 years at Toll Holdings Limited, McAleese Group and Asciano, where he held general management roles in both the Patrick and Pacific National Divisions.

As Group Chief Operating Officer, Andrew is responsible for centralising our operational leadership to enable us to share best practice and capability across the organisation, while leading safety across the supply chain.

Gavin Hudson

COO, C3 NZ and Pedersen Group

Gavin has more than 14 years with Pedersen Group and more than 23 years in New Zealand’s forestry industry. Gavin’s deep experience in business growth, development, sales and acquisition, delivers an executive level of business acumen, strategic planning and leadership, that are great assets to the Pedersen Group and the wider LINX Cargo Care Group.

Gavin has previously worked as an independent consultant to Fletcher Challenge and Norske Skog, and worked for Winstone Pulp and Red Stag.

Eliza Anning

Chief Transformation Officer

Eliza has been a member of the LINX Cargo Care Group Senior Leadership Team since the Group’s inception in 2016. Combining her extensive legal expertise with her more than 10 years of experience providing corporate services to businesses in the Logistics, Port Services and Forestry sectors, Eliza brings a well-rounded skillset to the Chief Transformation Officer role. In this role, Eliza utilises her market knowledge and connections to support the entire Group to deliver business transformation and organisational change in sectors that are constantly evolving.  Eliza also oversees the Group’s Health, Safety and Environment function in providing fit for purpose HSE governance structures and championing the development and implementation of LINX Cargo Care Group’s ESG program.

Eliza’s strong legal, risk management and commercial background stems from having trained as a legal practitioner with Clayton Utz and previously holding general counsel roles, including for Patrick and LINX. As LINX Cargo Care Group’s Chief Transformation Officer, Eliza plays a pivotal role in driving the future direction of the Group, ensuring we are ready to meet the ever changing challenges of an increasingly complex operating environment.

Emma Porteous

Executive GM, Human Resources

Emma has been leading the HR function for LINX Cargo Care Group since early 2017, and prior to this held several senior roles in the Patrick/Asciano HR team. Emma has a diverse background, with an HR career spanning telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and transport and logistics.

Claire Robertson

General Counsel

Claire has worked in various legal roles across the business, including roles with Patrick and Asciano since 2014. Claire has extensive experience in general corporate commercial law and employment law, across various industry sectors, including transport and logistics, building and construction and mining. As General Counsel for LINX Cargo Care Group, Claire oversees the organisation’s portfolio of liabilities and risks.

Brett Winter

CEO GeelongPort

Brett commenced his maritime logistics career working for Toyota Australia in their export program, before moving into a number of supply chain management roles. Joining Patrick in 2007, Brett has held leadership roles in Business Development, Transport, Stevedoring and Port Facilities Management.

As GeelongPort CEO, Brett is responsible for the management of key port assets, operational service delivery and driving the Port’s growth strategy.
