Course information

LINX FastTrax is a five-week pre-employment course that will provide you with training and nationally recognised Certificate III traineeship opportunities in Driving Operations and Supply Chain Operations.

Selected participants will then have an opportunity to begin a two-year traineeship with LINX upon successful completion of the course.

Training is Monday to Wednesday each week and is run through LINX’s training partner, Innovative Learning Solutions Pty Ltd t/as Fusion Training Solutions RTO ID 91812.

Why is LINX conducting LINX FastTrax?

LINX FastTrax offers a unique opportunity to provide employment and training opportunities to people of all backgrounds.

As one of Australia’s most trusted freight and logistics businesses with a national presence, we want to build a more sustainable workforce, one filled with diverse thinking, fresh perspectives, and long-term aspirations.

To do that, we need to continue to build our inclusive and socially responsible workforce. We believe that LINX FastTrax is the optimal way to maintain our proud history and connection to the Australian logistics sector, while also accelerating cultural change across the business.

Who can participate?

We’re looking for people from all walks of life, from all backgrounds to keep the supply chain moving. We want new members who will act like they own it and bring new perspectives and ideas to help refresh the sector’s operations and business systems and processes. The only must have for applicants to be considered is Provisional P2 (Green Ps) licence

What is involved?

Applicants first complete a hands-on five-week pre-employment program. From there, successful applicants can be selected for a traineeship with LINX in one of the dedicated pathways: driving operations or supply chain operations. The appropriate pathway will be selected based on the individual’s career aspirations and operational requirements at the time of intake.

Each dedicated pathway provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to start an entry level operations position within a business like LINX. These pathways take participants through the loading and unloading of goods, securing and protecting the load, completing all required documentation, administrative procedures and more.

What do participants get out of LINX FastTrax?

Upon successful completion of the 5 week pre-employment training, participants receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the below units of competency.

Selected participants who successfully complete the two-year traineeship with LINX, will also receive a Certificate III (or IV) in Driving Operations or Supply Chain Operations.
This training is subsidised by NSW Smart and Skilled
