Employee Assistance Program - Assure
We would like to remind our people of the employee Assistance Program (EAP) this is available through our provider, Assure Programs. This is an employee benefit and one the business encourages you to use. We understand that it is a busy time of year and life has its ups and downs and we want to provide you with confidential, quality support options that is easily accessible for you and your family.
What does this mean for you?
All employees and their family members have access to confidential support 24/7/365 that is completely external to the organisation and free for you to use. All services are independently provided by Assure and designed to help improve your health and wellbeing and resolve any personal or workplace challenges.
Our organisation does not find out any identifying information, including who has accessed or what was said during session.
What’s included in the program
Counselling: 4 sessions per issue (for 2 issues per year), provided by a qualified, experienced psychologist that can assist you with any work or personal concern.
Counselling is commonly used for:
- Relationship/marital issues
- Managing stress
- Managing excessive workloads
- Parenting and family problems
- Managing mental health concerns
Wellbeing Coaching: 4 sessions to proactively engage with a psychologist to implement strategies to achieve your personal or professional goals, including wellbeing and resilience.

- Debt consolidation
- Financial planning
- General Financial Advice
Nutritional Coaching: 1 sessions via telephone for:
- Weight loss or gain

Introductory Legal advice: 1 session via telephone

Regular Wellbeing Check-ins will be sent to you via text or via this portal. This a quick, confidential self-assessment tool to give you an opportunity to reflect on how you are coping. The Check-in contains tips to support you to continue to look after yourself, ideas on how to stay well, or regain balance and how to reach out for support should you be struggling.
